Ce rapport annuel montre que la crise climatique est le défi déterminant auquel l'humanité est confrontée. Elle est étroitement liée à la crise des inégalités, comme en témoignent l'insécurité alimentaire croissante, les déplacements de population et la perte de biodiversité.”

Ainsi, les vagues de chaleur marine ont également une très forte influence sur le blanchissement des coraux, et ces écosystèmes sont très importants pour la pêche et pour la vie marine.”
