ترأست أليساندرا فيلوتشي من خدمة المعلومات التابعة للأمم المتحدة (UNIS) في جنيف، الإيجاز المختلط، الذي حضره المتحدثون والممثلون عن مكتب المفوض السامي لحقوق الإنسان، ومكتب تنسيق الشؤون الإنسانية، وصندوق الأمم المتحدة للطفولة، ومنظمة الصحة العالمية، ومنظمة الأرصاد الجوية العالمية.

الوضع في إسرائيل والأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة، بعد مرور 100 يوم

قالت إليزابيث ثروسيل، من مكتب المفوض السامي لحقوق الإنسان (OHCHR)، إن هذا الأحد سيشهد مرور 100 يوم منذ بدء حماس والجماعات المسلحة الفلسطينية الأخرى هجومها الرهيب على إسرائيل، الذي أسفر عن مقتل 1200 شخص، معظمهم إسرائيليون، واختطاف حوالي 250 شخصًا. وخلال الأسابيع الـ14 الماضية، مع استمرار إسرائيل في ملاحقة الرد العسكري، قتل أكثر من 23000 فلسطيني، وكان ثلثيهم تقريبًا من النساء والأطفال. كما دعا المفوض السامي لحقوق الإنسان في الأمم المتحدة فولكر تورك مرارًا وتكرارًا، إلى ضرورة وقف إطلاق النار فورًا على أساس حقوق الإنسان والأسباب الإنسانية. وقد أبرز المكتب مرارًا وتكرارًا الإخفاقات المتكررة لإسرائيل في الوفاء بالمبادئ الأساسية للقانون الدولي الإنساني خلال الأعمال العدائية، مشددًا على أن انتهاك هذه الالتزامات يعرض المخالفين للمساءلة القانونية بتهمة جرائم الحرب.
