UNSMIL: Meeting of the 5+5 Libyan Joint Military Commission in Geneva - 20 October 2020

Footage of the arrival of the delegations on the second day to the fourth round of the 5+5 Libyan Joint Military (JMC) Commission in Geneva.

The meeting that has started yesterday at the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland, is hosted under the guidance of Ms. Stephanie Williams, Acting Special Representative of the Secretary-General (ASRSG) and Head of the UN Stabilization Mission in Libya (UNSMIL).

The launching of this round of talks is marked by in person meetings between the delegations of the two parties to the conflict in Libya and builds on previous deliberations and on the recommendations that emerged from the meeting held in Hurghada, Egypt, from 28-30 September.
